CEO of Profit AI announces what they have been working in the latter part of 2025, the AI-R Fryer. A revolutionary device that uses the power of Large language models to improve the way we make our home cooking.
The AI-R Fryer features two AI powered knobs to set the temperature and cooking time. These never seen before arrangement improves usability of the device.
Kit Cheng, Kitchen Division Director at Profit AI, gives us a rather technical overview of the ins and outs of the device.
Kit Cheng: The device design was aimed for simplicity, only two knobs, and the AI fills the gaps. This device is connected to our state of the art SlopGPT, that makes micro adjustments to improve the cooking time of any food.
The electronic hardware is also very interesting, we use an over the counter micro controller to read the knob positions, once this is known we use a state of the art text to speech converter IC, the Texas Instruments TMC0280 an industry tested solution widely used in the Speak and Spell devices. Once we have the synthesized speech we send it to SlopGTP servers where an advanced LLM model generates the commands to fine tune the temperature and time. After that process is completed the results are returned to the AI-R fryer to start the cooking, all the process takes less than 10 seconds, even on low bandwidth conditions.
Other great advantage is that this system also saves you money, we know that running AI data centers requires a lot of energy, however this AI-R fryer is constantly monitoring our data center power usage, so when the servers are doing some important work and pulling extra current, the fryer will lower the cooking temperature to lower power usage in your home, that way you save a little on the peak consumption hours that we generate. And all of this without you having to do anything. It is amazing.
After that great insight of the device by Kit Cheng, we had the opportunity to talk to some of the beta testers of the unit, and we were impressed by how well this device works.
Katy Treats, house keeper: I was a bit doubtful of this device at first but over time I’m getting to love it more every day. Since it is a beta device it had some small issues, for example sometimes you set the time or temperature and it does not starts, after talking to tech support they say it is usually due to servers being down but that those issues are transitory. So now, what I do is I set the fryer and just for good measure I come back 5 minutes later to see if it started correctly, if not I just try one more time. By the second try it is always up and running.

The other day I was making my signature roasted chicken, and it just so happen to be that ProfitAI was doing a new model training at the data center behind our house and generating a peak current charge in the power lines, so the fryer was smart enough to lower the cooking temperature and power usage by itself. When I served the chicken, it was not only perfectly crispy on the outside but with a lovely pink color on the inside, also it was the juiciest chicken we have ever had!
